YOUR NEWBORN SESSION
(Best suited from birth - 4 weeks)
Thank you so much for considering me to photograph your new arrival. My style is very laid back, relaxed and baby focused. This means I document your baby just as they are, all tiny & new! I also like to photograph all the little details that make your baby unique. These teeny details change so dramatically in a matter of weeks and I love being able to give my clients memories of these.
I shoot on a white backdrop in my little white studio meaning that your baby is the main focus and you don't have to worry that the photographs will date.
SO WHAT HAPPENS IN A NEWBORN SESSION?
- We start by photographing baby in their onesie/vest
- We then move on to do some wrapped shots
- No awkward posing or props, just your baby & family
- £20 deposit reserves time in the diary around your due date and the remainder isn't due until the day of your session which will be arranged after baby arrives. Pricing & Bookings aren't secured without a deposit.
- Bookings should be made anywhere from your 20 week scan to ensure availability
THE STUDIO
My cosy home studio is located in Bishopton. It's perfect for newborns/babies & comes equipt with everything we will need for your session. However, you are more than welcome to bring along anything sentimental which you would like included in the photographs

- All final images provided via online gallery (25 images), you are free to download & keep these to have them printed anywhere you wish
- Due dates cannot be held in the diary without a deposit & completed booking form.

Maternity mini session can be added for £100.00.
FAQ'S
WHAT HAPPENS IF BABY IS EARLY/LATE?
Don't worry, I leave plenty of space either side of your due date to allow for early or late arrivals. The amount of newborn sessions I take on a month is limited to allow for flexibility so I do urge you to book as early as possible as I wont always have availability to take last minute bookings.
WHERE WILL THE SESSION TAKE PLACE?
In my home studio located in Bishopton for all newborn sessions
DO YOU USE PROPS?
I don't use props as I find these distract and take the attention away from your baby. I want you to have a reminder of exactly just how they are as teeny tiny newborns! My sessions are 'baby led' which means if they prefer to lie a certain way or are comfortable having their arms or legs in a certain position, then that's what I photograph.
I'M WORRIED THAT BABY WONT SETTLE
Please don't stress! Your photography session should be an enjoyable & relaxing experience. All babies are unique so we work with baby, they're in charge and will tell us what they're happy doing, so that's what we go with!
WHEN WILL MY PICTURES BE READY?
4 weeks from your session date.
DO YOU DO A LOT OF POSING?
I try and avoid typical 'posing' when I can. I much prefer to photograph the natural positions your baby is most comfortable in or how you all bond as a family. I will position baby for the best light but ultimately, they do most of the posing!
I DON'T WANT TO BE IN PICTURES, JUST BABY
This is fine however, I do urge you to try & be in a couple! If you don't like them you never have to use them but at least you have the option. We tend to take hundreds of photographs of our babies but very rarely are we in them. They will also want to look back at pictures with their mum/dad in years to come so let me know if you would like some included! I can also incorporate mums/dads in by using hands etc too so doesn't always need to be typical portraits.
